Before a plan can begin, Dr Don conducts a thorough assessment to ensure that the programme is suitable for his client.  Treatment can be beneficial for those with a BMI of 27 or more who are struggling with traditional weight loss methods. The injectable therapy works by acting on receptors in the brain that control your appetite, making you feel fuller for longer and decreasing cravings.

The treatment is self-administered once per week, usually to the stomach, helping to curb your appetite.  Side effects are mild and can include  slight tiredness, occasionally nausea or a change in bowel habits but these usually settle within a few days.
